Privacy

What data, and why

• Your email address: to sign you in.
• Your date of birth: to find your sign and for the minimum age of 13. Your name and gender are optional.
• Your sky photos: uploaded to our server and sent to our AI provider only to prepare your reading.
• Your readings and journal: kept in your account.
• Your approximate location (optional): if you allow it, a location rounded to about 11 km; your exact location is not stored. You can delete it any time in Profile → Location → "Delete my location".
• Your push token (optional): if you allow notifications, so we can send them.
• Usage and error data: to improve the app and find bugs (PostHog, Sentry).

How long we keep it

• The photo of a successful reading is deleted automatically after 90 days; the text of your reading stays in your account.
• If a reading fails, its photo is deleted right away. An upload that never became a reading is deleted within 24 hours.

Where

Your account, readings and photos are stored in the European Union, on servers in Germany (Frankfurt). Our service providers: Supabase for the database and file storage, and Amazon Web Services (SES, Frankfurt) for the emails the app sends.

Your right to delete

You can delete your account and data at any time: in the app via Profile → "Delete account", or by email as described on the account deletion page.

Age

CloudOmen is not for children under 13.
